 Tuition in Art

Come share my love of watercolour painting, learn new skills and have fun! For me painting is an exciting kind of magic, taking a blank piece of paper and turning it into a painting. I love combining colours and the challenge of working with watercolour.

A watercolour lesson can be a wonderful gift for a friend or family member.

  • Would you like to learn how to paint with a free-flowing watercolour style?

  • Anything else you would like to learn?


The lesson can be customised just for you. All pricing is in NZ dollars.

One-to-one Art Lesson

Marianne offers individualised one-to-one lessons, either in her studio or online. These are customised to whatever level you are at, from beginners onwards.

If you want to paint with watercolour and don’t know where to start or what tools you need Marianne can help. If you want to improve your skills or jumpstart getting back into painting she can create a bespoke class for you. We will talk about what you need from the class beforehand so it can be customised to your needs.

A single two-hour lesson is $120.

All materials supplied.

Gift an Art Lesson

Purchase a one-to-one lesson for your friends or family as a gift.

 

Marianne will provide a personalised gift certificate which is valid for one year.

These classes are customised to the appropriate skill level and are held online or in person at Marianne's studio.

Regular Lessons

Regular art tuition is offered, weekly or fortnightly. The tuition is a two-hour art class and costs $100 per class when you book at least eight classes. If you pay for eight classes in advance you receive a 5% discount.

For regular lessons, students will need to bring their art materials. A material list will be provided in advance. 

 

If you need Marianne to supply a set of materials for these classes it will be an additional cost.

Eight two-hour art lessons are $800.
